BLOGGURU – Alhamdulillah, I am grateful and proud to be able to take part in the International Conference on Cross-Cultural religious Literacy, “Multi-faith Collaborations in an Inclusive Society”.
The International Conference on Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy (IC-CCRL) with the theme “Multi-faith Collaborations in an Inclusive Society” was held in Jakarta, Indonesia from July 10-11, 2024 (09:00 a.m – 05:00 p.m. Jakarta time | 02:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. GMT | 09:00 p.m. – 05:00 a.m. US EST). The conference was co-hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and the Leimena Institute.
The conference aimed to promote understanding and collaboration between people of different faiths. It featured speakers from around the world who discussed topics such as the role of education in building multi-faith collaboration, the importance of religious literacy in promoting peace and tolerance, and the challenges and opportunities of multi-faith collaboration in the 21st century.
The conference was attended by over 4,000 participants, both online and in-person, including government officials, religious leaders, academics, and civil society representatives.
