BLOGGURU – Apa itu Alison.com? Alison adalah sebuah platform pembelajaran online terbuka (open learning platform) yang menyediakan kursus gratis di berbagai bidang. Didirikan tahun 2007 di Irlandia oleh Mike Feerick, Alison menjadi salah satu pelopor Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).
Alison.com memungkinkan siapa saja untuk belajar mandiri (self-paced learning) dengan materi yang bisa diakses gratis, lalu jika ingin sertifikat atau diploma resmi biasanya berbayar. Bagaimana Alison.com Bekerja? Berikut ini beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan ketika mau menjajaki kursus di Alison.com. Pertama, Akses Gratis. Semua kursus bisa dipelajari tanpa biaya (free learning) dimana Kursus disusun dalam modul pendek, dengan ujian/kuis di akhir. Kedua, Kategori Kursus melingkupi beragam bidang: IT & Software Development, Business & Management, Language Learning, Health, Safety & Medicine, Engineering & Science, Teaching & Education, Personal Development, dan lain-lain.
