IMMIMPANGKEP – This Hadith is about the Night Prayer
Abu Hurairah (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrated that: the Messenger of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala),(peace be upon him) said: “Whoever fasts Ramadan and stands (in the night prayer) for it out of faith and seeking a reward (from Allah), he will be forgiven what preceded of his sins. Whoever stands (in the night prayer) on the Night of Al-Qadr out of faith and seeking a reward (from Allah), he will be forgiven what preceded of his sins.”

What a beautiful Hadith! This also highlights that intention is everything. Ramadan, Salah and Qiyam are not about ritual, but about sincerity, intention and acting on those intentions. Now that you’ve adapted to this year’s Ramadan, be sure to engage in worship through the nights. While the world is asleep, turn to your Lord. Pray for yourself, your loved ones, the Ummah, especially the oppressed, and the world. May all your duas be accepted – Ameen! (*)
